guided us from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood,
equipping us with the knowledge and skills necessary for personal
advancement and success. It is essential that we continuously honor and
appreciate the nurturing guidance of our elders”.

He further stated thus: “Our ambition for national greatness can only be fully realised if we cherish and care for our elders. They embody wisdom and love, and selflessly impact these virtues in us. They are the living link to our heritage, having passed down the tools, traditions, and values that continue to shape our lives today”.
Senator Eshilokun appreciated the support of the Executive Chairmen of the 13 LGAs and LCDAs for their support for the programme. Meanwhile, the Chairmen of Ikoyi-Obalende, Iru Victoria Island and Itire Ikate LCDAs specifically expressed appreciation to the senator for finding time to personally grace the event in their local governments.
