Lagos Central witnessed a remarkable gathering on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, as Senator Wasiu Eshilokun convened a Town Hall Meeting that united constituents, stakeholders, school principals, teachers, parents, and students.
The landmark event was highlighted by the distribution of over 980,000 exercise books to Junior and Senior Secondary Schools across the senatorial district.
Each school received between 3,000 to 6,000 exercise books, a gesture widely described as timely and impactful, aimed at reducing the financial burden on parents and fostering quality learning in classrooms.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Eshilokun reaffirmed that education remains central to his legislative priorities, emphasizing that no society can progress without equipping its young people with the tools for knowledge. He pledged his unwavering commitment to initiatives that strengthen human capital development and improve community welfare.

Grateful beneficiaries, including principals, teachers, and students, commended the Senator for the intervention, noting that it would significantly boost teaching and learning outcomes across Lagos Central.
