On Monday 19th January 2026, Councilors from Itire Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA) paid a visit to the senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial district, Distinguished Senator Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun in his office.
The Councillors, led by their leader, Hon. Agbeyangi Olaoluwa, said they had come to express their appreciation for the support the senator provided to them in the last local government election.
They also presented an array of needs for their constituents including the Roads, a Health Centre and a Housing Estate. These, they implored the senator to help facilitate for their local government.
In his response, Senator Eshilokun informed them that the construction and equipping of a health centre for Itire Ikate is already underway. He said he started working on the provision of the facility following the earlier demand made by Chief D.O. Adenekan and the Council Executive Chairman Hon. Odunayo Olufemi Daniel.
